Probably one of the most challenging comfort foods that folks hate to give up is cheese. And Casheeze is gluten- and soy-free as a bonus!
2 cups water
1 cup cashews
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
1/2 tsp turmeric
12 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
Blend all the ingredients in a blender until smooth.
Heat in a sauce pan on low heat until it thickens to the consistency you desire. If you cook too long, you can thin it with some water.
Serve over your favorite veggie, with pasta, over corn chips, or over tofu hot dogs.
