Cashew Crock Cheeze

Try this scrumptious spreadable soy- and dairy-free "cheeze!" Spread on crackers and sandwiches or dip with carrots and celery. A recipe from Rae Sikora.
Yields: Makes 1 1/2 cups
Ingredients
1 cup organic raw cashews
4 oz red pimentos, drained
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
6 T nutritional yeast
1/2 - 2 tsp salt or to taste
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Preparation
Blend the cashews in blender or food processor until powdery. Add rest of ingredients and blend until very smooth. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for an hour or two.
Serve with whole grain crackers, on celery or carrots or spread on sandwiches.
