This delicious and creamy smoothie packs a nutritional punch - 6 grams of fiber, vitamin C, and ginger root, an anti-inflammatory.

Yields: Makes 3 cups


2 very ripe bananas (with plenty of brown speckles)

1/2 cup ice

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/2-inch piece of ginger, peeled and sliced

2 cups frozen fruit or berries*

1 cup nondairy milk (almond milk or soy milk for the best flavor)


Combine the ingredients in a blender until smooth and creamy.

*Try strawberries, pineapple, peaches, or blueberries
